Texas Tradition

I have always looked forward to taking pictures of my children in the bluebonnets. The flowers this year did not disappoint. They were gorgeous and I was excited to get some shots of Bryson.

It’s hard to get all the kids to cooperate at the same time. We take what we can get…it’s a captured memory.

Birthday

One downfall of the military is the frequent moving. Leaving good friends is always hard. However, we have been lucky enough to meet some great people since we moved here. Some of them got together and threw me a birthday party. I am so grateful for our military family!

The Ongoing Process…

For those of you who don’t know Travis very well, let me tell you a little about him. He can’t sit still. He is always tinkering with something…broken or not. Often times, this drives me crazy! He takes on these huge tasks that occupy much of his time. One such task happens to be our yard. This started when we built our first house in Mississippi. Travis decided to seed our 1 acre lot, plant a garden, build a deck and the fence…all on his own. However, I will be the first to admit, he more than excelled. The garden was a huge success, we spent many days/nights enjoying the deck with friends, Harley appreciated the fence, and we had the best looking yard on the street.

Front Back Yard

Yes, living in MS rubbed off on us and we joined the “above ground pool club”…until it killed the grass. Then the “yard police” made us get rid of it.

When we moved to Kansas, Travis was in charge of the house buying. He did a great job. Picked out a home I loved…with a yard that was not finished and just happened to be on the largest lot in the neighborhood. What does this mean? Travis gets to start all over! Here is a look at his progress so far.

He has decided to “cultivate” his perennials from seeds this year.

We have grass! A little longer and Harley will have a yard again. Poor girl.

We are on our way to fresh salsa, pickled okra, pickles, and zucchini bread just to name a few…can’t wait!

Krug Easter

I know…I’m behind on posting these photos. I have a lot of catching up to do! Easter at the Krug house was full of kiddos. Trav’s cousin, Jess, came in town with her son, Keaton. It was great getting to see them and Bryson had his first Easter Egg Hunt.

Tyler was suppose to be hiding the eggs. Instead, he was checking them for money…stealing from children is wrong Uncle Tyler.

Here’s a look at some of Bryson’s six month pictures. He was all smiles the entire session. We were in and out in no time!
