Getting Out Of The House

I will be the first to admit that I have had a bad case of Paranoid First Mom Syndrome. Bryson hasn’t gone anywhere except the doctor’s office…4 times. In my defense, he did have a cold, an eye infection, and was diagnosed with acid reflux. I’m hoping to stay away from there until our next scheduled check-up. However, I am making progress. We went on our first walk and even ventured out to Target.

Off to Target. Probably a little too bundled up. Better safe than sorry!

Go HAWKS!

Thanks Sandy for the adorable outfit. I have a feeling he will be getting much wear out of it….at least once a week :)

Welcome Home Dad!

Bryson was glad to have his Dad home. It was hard on Travis to be away from him for so long this early. We really missed him and couldn’t wait for his trip to be over. Travis flew around the world and got a lot of great experience…and he brought home some goodies :)

Harley’s New Friend

Harley is slowly but surely warming up to our new addition. Until now, she has chosen to ignore Bryson. Every now and then, we catch her laying with him. She has decided she really likes his Boppy.

Helping Hands

Travis left on November 12th for the first time since Bryson was born and was gone for 2 weeks. My friend Brittany drove from Houston for a week long visit, then my Mom and a close family friend, Barbara, came the following week. I don’t know what I would have done without them. My Mom and Barbara took Bryson at night so I could sleep. I was so grateful! Thank you so much!

Barbara has 5 grandchildren so she had the secret touch.

Mom and Barbara enjoyed the basement frequently…and the bar :)

Breaking In The Bar

After all of Trav’s hard work, he finally got to break-in his bar. He is very proud of what he has done. There are a few little details that need to be finished, but it looks great! I’m sure there will be a lot time spent down here.

One Last Round

Ryan and Delaney were our last set of visitors. They drove up from Fort Worth to meet their first nephew. They were a huge help. Bryson had his first sleep over. Travis and I really needed the sleep and Ryan and Delaney got a good dose of life with a newborn. Thanks guys! That was the best gift you could have given us!

More Visitors

Grandma was insistent on taking Bryson to a Pumpkin Patch. The weather was nasty, so she brought the pumpkin patch to him (there are pumpkins…Trav just didn’t get them in the picture).

Three generations. Bryson has some growing to do if he’s going to catch up to his Dad and Grandpa.

paint Ang had some great painting suggestions…so once again, we put Trav’s parents to work. I’m afraid they are going to stop coming to visit if we keep giving them projects. The painting turned out great and we really like it. What do you think, Ang?

Visit From Iowa

We had a surprised visit from the rained out Farmers in Iowa. They were unable to work the fields so they decided to make the trip to Kansas. Bryson got to meet his Great Grandparents and his Great Aunt and Uncle.
