Deployment Life

Life as a single Mom with a rowdy toddler can be challenging. I am always trying to find ways to entertain Bryson knowing full well he is probably getting sick and tired of me.

Bryson’s “tent phase”.

We played in this tent, ate in this tent, Skyped with Dad in this tent. You name it, we did it. That’s before Bryson discovered he could pick it up and attempt to throw it down the stairs. The tent soon found it’s way to the basement.

I am the diaper rash police. I’ve always been so anal (no pun intended) about Bryson not getting a diaper rash. So…he got sick, was on an antibiotic (TMI alert)…and had bad diarrhea. Needless to say, he finally was exposed to his first diaper rash. I let him run around the house diaper-less a couple of times. Yes, he peed on the floor more than once BUT, no more diaper rash!

Curious George

Bryson loves Curious George so when I heard he would be at the Wildlife Park, I knew we had to go. He was a little hesitant but liked them from a distance.

July 4th

Believe it or not, KS is the place to be on the 4th of July. Actually, KS is the place to be the entire week of the 4th. I never imagined so many fireworks and celebrations! It truly is amazing and the best part…we never have to leave our house.
