Our First Week

Bryson had his first doctors appointment on Saturday. They said he is doing phenomenal (their words, not mine).  We weighed him this morning with the scale his cousin Cade sent, and he is already back to his birth weight.  He has been eating very well, and so far sleeping very well.  We have been able to get 6-7 hours of sleep every night.  His aunts Anna and Amy, cousins Callie and Emily, and our cousin Marissa came to visit this past weekend.  Here are some pictures from our first week at home.

Harley isn’t sure what to think just yet. She is just  beginning to figure out that he isn’t a visitor.

 

Aunt Anna is an expert when it comes to bathing newborns. She gave us some good tips.

Harley followed Callie the entire time, she fed her and they enjoyed barking at the geese together.

Aunt Anna insisted on some tummy time. Bryson wasn’t a fan.

We made it home!

After waiting around for the doctor all day, we finally got the okay to go home. Here are some pics of that day as well as a few from today. Don't worry, we know he sunburns easily, but he needs it for his jaundice.

First Visitors

We should be getting out today and going home! Robyn and Bryson are both doing great. Bryson met his first set of grandparents yesterday. Robyn's parents were able to get in the car and come on Wednesday. It was nice getting to share him with family. We will have more visitors as the week/month continues.

Our First Day

Here are some cleaner pictures. Robyn was sick last night, but is feeling better now and is attempting to eat. Bryson had some trouble keeping his body temp. up, so he went to the nursery for a few hours for monitoring. He is doing great and hanging out with us. We are making progress with feedings and Robyn is about to get up for the first time and take a shower. Needless to say, she is excited about that. We actually got some sleep last night while Bryson was in the nursery (he's a loud little sleeper). Thanks for all of the calls, texts, and facebook messages. We can't wait for everyone to meet him!

Surprise!!!

Well, we had an eventful night. To make a long story short, Bryson Lee Krug was born at 10:49 on Sep 22. He weighs 6 lbs 14 ozs and measures 20 inches. He ended up being two and a half weeks early and is doing great! Robyn is also doing well, and we should be out in 3 days or so. Bryson is staying with us in our room and hasn't left our side since he was born. Robyn did have a C-section so the next week or so will be challenging. Here are a few of my 75 pictures!!!

Progress Halted...

It looks like I spoke too soon. Travis had a rough last week. He started the week off by catching his fingers in the router and ended it with a sprained ankle. Needless to say, this weekend will be unproductive and hopefully uneventful.
